Indonesia and Thailand have had a long and close economic relationship, and this has been further strengthened in recent years. The two countries have complementary economic strengths, with Indonesia being a major producer of agricultural goods while Thailand is more industrialized. Both countries are members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which provides an opportunity for them to further deepen their economic ties. This includes the formation of free-trade agreements, investment opportunities, and other initiatives that can benefit both countries. Through these efforts, Indonesia and Thailand can continue to foster strong economic relations for mutual benefit.
